Ladidi Bara’atu Mohammed
Hajiya Ladidi Bara’atu was born on the 23rd December, 1969 and hails from Kaduna State. She attended Army Children School Cantonement ‘A’ Nigeria Defence Academy Kaduna and completed in 1980 where she proceeded to Government Day Secondary School Kurmin Mashi NDA, Kaduna. In 1990, she graduated from the School of Nursing, Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital, Zaria and in 1991 from the Institute of Administration Ahmadu Bello University.
She obtained an LL.B from the University of Abuja in 1999 and proceeded to the Nigerian Law School for B.L. In 2015, she went for further studies at the National Teachers Institute for a Post-Graduate education and in 2017 obtained a Master’s Degree in Peace & Conflict Resolution from the Kaduna State University.
She began her work experience as a Nurse Pupil at Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital from 1987-1989. In 1996 to 1997, she went for her mandatory National Youth Service Corp at the Code of Conduct Bureau. In 1998, she completed her Law Pupillage with the Law Firm of Orifunmishe & Co. She joined the Ministry of Justice in the year 2000 and rose to the position of Deputy – Director. She is currently the Head, Asset Recovery and Management Unit from 2017 till date.
She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), the International Bar Association (IBA), the Federacion Internationale De Advocate (FIDA), an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK) Nigeria Branch and the West African Society for Communication and Administration.
She was appointed Board Member of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) representing the Attorney-General of the Federation on the 9th of December, 2019 by President Muhammadu Buhari. She is married with children.
