Biography

Mrs. Ehile Aibangbee hails from Owan-West Local Government Area of Edo State. Ehile is a tax and fiscal policy expert. She started her professional career at KPMG Professional Services. With almost two decades of professional experience serving clients (Nigerian corporates and multinationals) in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods sector (FMCG), Infrastructure, Government & Healthcare, Oil & Gas, Financial Services, Telecommunications, and Media. On October 1, 2017, she was admitted into the KPMG partnership, where she was responsible for leading the team, serving clients in the consumer, industrial, manufacturing, technology, media and telecommunications markets.

A strong advocate for improving the business environment. Her advocacy for improving the operating environment for manufacturing companies led to the trail blazing granting of a five (5) year tax holiday to existing manufacturing companies expanding or investing in new factories or production lines or products in Nigeria. Ehile serves on various reform committees established by various MDAs in Nigeria, while acting, as a Tax & Business Transformation Adviser to many local and foreign investors.

She is also an independent adviser, with the Facility for Oil Sector Transformation (FOSTER 2), an initiative of the Oxford Policy Management, under the auspices of the Department for International Development (DFID) & the State Fiscal Transparency, Accountability and Sustainability Program for Results (SFTAS) Program, an initiative of the World Bank, currently managed by the Nigerian Governor Forum. She is a recognized thought leader and faculty. A Christian, an advocate for the empowerment of the girl-child, a wife and a mother.

On 9th December, 2019 she was appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari as a non-executive on the Board of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), representing the South-South Region.
