Mr. Adewale Ogunyomade was born on the 10th of July, 1960 and hails from Ogun State. He attended Comprehensive High School, Ayetoro, Ogun State and wrote the West African School Certificate (WASC) in 1978. He graduated with HND (Distinction) Accounting in 1982 from Ogun State Polytechnic (Now Moshood Abiola University of Technology) and MBA in 1990 from the University of Lagos, Akoka. He became a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) in 1986 and a fellow in 2013.
He began his work experience with the Federal Civil Airports Authority (FCAA) from 1982-1990 where he left as a principal accountant to Prime Merchant Bank (now Prime Securities) as the Head of Accounts & Financial Controls from June 1990 to December 1993. He was a promoter and the Executive Vice-Chairman of Idi-Oro Community Bank from Jan 1994 to September 1996 before leaving for the United Kingdom. He worked with the famous Madamme Tassauds Studios now a member of the Merlin Group from June 1997 to September 2003 as a project accountant.
He became the Managing Director and CEO of 4T4 Services, London with investment portfolios in properties and restaurants from October 2003 to September 2010. He returned to Nigeria to run the campaign of Senator Ibikunle Amosun as the DG of the campaign organization and was appointed the Special Adviser to the Governor of Ogun State where he served in various capacities as SA on Revenue and Taxation, Agriculture and Rural Development. He was part of the team that grew the revenue collections of Ogun State by 1000%. He also worked as the Financial Controller of the ECOWAS Commission between 2017 and 2018.
Mr. Ogunyomade was appointed a Board Member of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) representing the South-West Region on the 9th of December, 2019 by President Muhammadu Buhari. He brings to his new role depth of professionalism and wealth of experience in management at top level. He is married with children.
