The chairman, Kano Board of internal Revenue, Honourable Nasiru Mohammed, has called on the people of the state to fulfil their obligation as well as assist the government through the discharge of their civic responsibilities by paying taxes in the new Islamic year (1431 A. H.) to enable the government execute more meaningful project for the development of the state. Honourable Mohammed also reminded that Islam has enjoined every individual to obey constituted authorities and to equally pay taxes as and when due.
