The Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) has begun a campaign to educate the Nigerian tax payers on the values of paying their taxes promptly and to build a culture of voluntary tax payment among Nigerians. The campaign according to the tax agency is based on paper on how to pay his taxes more conveniently and through the right channel.

Mrs. Olajumoke Simplice, head of Channels Management, FIRS who represented Mrs Ifueko Omoigui-Okauru, chairman FIRS, at a media parley to launch the new campaign in Lagos last week said the campaign is aimed at making Nigerians to imbibe the culture of taxation.
