What is the Best date to File my Returns
Filing Dates
In respect of Companies Income Tax, Table 1 shows the due dates of filing and raising of assessments that should be followed in accordance with the law. For example, a company with 31st January accounting date, should have filed its returns for 2008 in July 2007 while the due date of assessment was January, 2008. Estimated assessments should have been raised on defaulting companies in January, 2008 if they neglected to file.
